Interesting (re: stats)

Clearly I hadn’t looked at the html for the stats. I just went to look at my previous blog entry to compare my new stats to the old and it is automatically updated.

So, if anyone is curious to keep up to the week on my geocaching activities, you can always check back there.

I finally went back and worked out the transition in this section tonight. Much later, but I realized I needed a couple of the characters to be a year older, so I added in a joint birthday celebration which actually tied the events from before and after together pretty well.

This was partially necessary because the latter portions of the novel have gotten a bit tiresome. I finished off the latest event and the characters are now just kind of going about thier days hoping for something interesting to happen. I know a future point I want to get to before the end. Hopefully I can figure out a way to get there shortly.

I wrote 2249 words today. I also reached and exceeded 100 pages.

I had a great weekend of progress, including my so far highest daily word count today. I wrote 3,298 words today for a current total of 18,369. This also takes me ahead of my 28 day pace. I should be at 17,857 by that schedule. I achieved this today even though I allowed myself to be totally engrossed in football for the first set of games and watch the fantasy football scores unfold. It was only after that that I started writing. By that time I had already been awake for over 6 hours. Not bad. There were some interesting turns of events that presented themselves today. I actually kind of like what I wrote today. It’s way less boring than all of the lead up has been.

Update

With the new inclusion of Montana, I have 16 states remaining. That number will be down to 10 by the end of September.
